Will I get a refund if I cancel an order on AliExpress?
If your order status is at Awaiting Payment or Payment Being Verified, there is no problem cancelling the order without the seller’s approval.
If you are cancelling your order when the status is at Awaiting Payment or Awaiting Shipment, you can still cancel the order but the seller has to approve it. The seller does not ship the order immediately after an order is made as AliExpress usually reserves up to 7 business days for sellers to send the parcel out.

How to Cancel my AliExpress Order?
Simple, to cancel an order, under Account, go to My Orders.
Check the Awaiting Shipment order and click on Cancel Order.
The Request Order Cancellation Window will pop up and you can just select a relevant reason regarding your cancellation.
As soon as the cancellation is requested, you just have to wait for the seller’s response. The seller can confirm the AliExpress cancellation request, and you will get a refund soonest.
AliExpress Seller Refuses to Process Refund
Well, sometimes we meet a difficult AliExpress seller and he/she simply refuses to cancel the wrong order. Perhaps the product is sent or the seller just doesn’t want to lose the sales. Nonetheless if the reason of cancellation is due to seller not shipping the product within 5 business days, you can check whether the seller has provided a tracking number for the parcel. In such cases, the solution is to open a dispute and ask for a refund.

AliExpress Cancel Order Fund Processing
The refund if approved by AliExpress will take between 24 hours to 7 business days, usually lesser than that to process. Since the refund involves credit card companies and banks, there may be another 3 to 15 business days before you receive the refund in your bank account. There may be some small differences due to exchange rate losses but it’s all negligible and reasonable.
